Desktop PC data recovery prices
AdatVissza provides professional data recovery for storage taken from desktop PCs: hard disk drives (HDD), SATA SSDs and NVMe SSDs. We use industry‑standard hardware (PC‑3000 Portable III with Data Extractor), so we can handle a wide range of scenarios from logical damage to firmware/controller anomalies and typical HDD mechanical issues. The diagnostic fee is credited if recovery succeeds; in typical cases we work on a “no data – no fee” basis.
Pricing – guide ranges; depend on type and fault
HDD data recovery (net, guide prices):
- Electronic fault (PCB): from 39,000 HUF
- Firmware / SA (service area) repair: from 49,000 HUF
- Logical damage: from 85,000 HUF
- Physical damage (e.g., head assembly, head crash): from 95,000 HUF
- Bearing issues / platter swap: from ~120,000 HUF
(Actual price depends on the fault and capacity; exact quote after diagnostics.)
SATA SSD data recovery (net, guide; no chip‑off, PC‑3000 + DE):
- Logical damage net: 50.000 – 150.000 HUF
- Controller/firmware‑type faults (supported controllers):
– Up to 120 GB: 90.000 – 160.000 HUF
– 120–512 GB: 140.000 – 220.000 HUF
– 1–2 TB: 180.000 – 300.000 HUF
– over 2 TB / rare controllers: custom quote
NVMe SSD data recovery (net, guide; no chip‑off, PC‑3000 Portable III + DE):
- Logical damage: from 70,000 HUF (typically 70,000 – 180,000 HUF)
- Controller/firmware‑type faults (supported controllers):
– Up to 1 TB: approx. HUF 90.000 – 180.000
– over 1 TB: ~140,000 – 280,000 HUF
What we recover?
- HDD (3.5" and 2.5" desktop/notebook drives, also when removed from USB enclosures)
- SATA SSD (M.2/SATA, 2,5″ SATA)
- NVMe SSD (M.2 PCIe, very common in modern desktops)
What to expect?
- Write‑blocked, non‑intrusive diagnostics (source kept intact)
- Sector‑level imaging with PC‑3000 DE
- File‑system recovery (NTFS/EXFAT/APFS, etc.) and directory tree reconstruction
- Delivery on your requested target media, verified with sample file opens
Recovery process
1) Diagnostics & write‑blocked intake: we register the device and examine the source without writing to it.
2) Stable access: for HDD we repair firmware/SA modules as needed; for SSD/NVMe we use tech mode/loader and rebuild translator/L2P in situ (on supported controllers).
3) Bit‑perfect image: created with gentle reading profiles (timeouts, retries, throttling awareness).
4) File‑system recovery: the directory tree and files (photos, videos, documents, emails, databases) are restored from the image.
5) Verification and delivery: we verify with sample file openings, then deliver the data on the requested media.
Technology & toolset
- PC‑3000 Portable III + Data Extractor (DE) – industry standard
- SSD Utility in‑situ functions: ROM/FW backup, microcode patching, L2P/translator rebuild
- Background process management: GC/TRIM suppression, stabilised reading
- HDD firmware/SA module repair; clean‑room work if physical intervention is required
When NOT to power it on?
- Clicking, scraping sounds, heavy slow‑down, “drive not detected” — power off immediately.
- Suspected head/platter damage: each additional spin‑up may worsen the condition.
- After delete/quick format: do not reinstall or copy new data (TRIM risk on SSDs!).
Turnaround times
- Logical faults: typically 1–3 business days
- Controller/firmware faults: 4–9 business days (depending on complexity)
- Physical HDD faults: vary depending on parts and clean‑room work
