2) Stabilisation: for HDD we repair FW/SA modules; clean‑room if required. For SSD/NVMe we use tech mode/loader and rebuild L2P/translator (when supported).
3) Imaging: gentle read profiles (timing, retries, thermal monitoring/throttling).
4) File‑system recovery: directory tree and files (documents, photos, emails, projects).
5) Verification & delivery: to the agreed target media, validated with sample files.
