NVMe M.2 SSD (2230/2242/2280) – no chip‑off, PC‑3000 Portable III + DE (net): 

  • Logical damage: 70,000 – 180,000 HUF
  • Controller/firmware/translator‑type faults:

– up to 1 TB: ~90,000 – 180,000 HUF
– over 1 TB: ~140,000 – 280,000 HUF

Laptop‑specific process

1) Intake & write‑blocked connection: we safely remove the drive if the whole laptop is provided. 

2) Stabilisation: for HDD we repair FW/SA modules; clean‑room if required. For SSD/NVMe we use tech mode/loader and rebuild L2P/translator (when supported). 

3) Imaging: gentle read profiles (timing, retries, thermal monitoring/throttling). 

4) File‑system recovery: directory tree and files (documents, photos, emails, projects). 

5) Verification & delivery: to the agreed target media, validated with sample files.

  • SSD Utility: ROM/FW backup, microcode patching, in‑situ read modes (no chip‑off)
  • BitLocker/APFS support: decryption with recovery key/password (when available)
  • HDD: FW/SA repair; physical faults handled with clean‑room partner when needed
When NOT to power on the laptop?
  • Clicking HDD or metallic/scraping noises: power off immediately.
  • After liquid damage: do *not* power on or charge – shorts/oxidation may worsen.
  • NVMe disappears/slows down: avoid repeated restarts – heat cycling and TRIM may harm.
  • After delete/quick format: stop using it immediately (TRIM/overwrites can destroy data).
