When Do You Need NVMe SSD Data Recovery?

  • The computer does not see the SSD, or the volumes disappear.
  • Slowdown, freezing, blue screen of death (BSOD), "Inaccessible Boot Device."
  • File system error (RAW volume, “needs to be formatted” message).
  • Firmware/controller faillure, SMART warnings, overheating.
  • Accidental deletem, after TRIM data loss, damaged partition table.
  • BitLocker/OPAL encrypted volumes (with the correct key or recovery key).

Tip: If your NVMe SSD fails shut down the system immediately. Do not run CHKDSK or write to the drive—any further write operations reduce the chances of successful recovery.
