Why are backups important for SMEs and individuals?
Accidental deletion, ransomware, device failure, or theft can happen anytime. Regular, automatic backups ensure critical documents, photos, and email can be restored quickly, avoiding data loss and downtime.
How does the service work, in short?
We install the backup client, set scheduling and protections. From there, backups run automatically; changes are versioned and—on request—kept write-protected (immutable). During restore, requested folders/files are available within minutes.
What is AES-256 encryption?
An industry-standard strong (256-bit) encryption. Encryption happens on the client side, so only those with the key can access the content — not even the provider.
What is an immutable (write-protected) backup?
A retention mode where backups cannot be deleted or modified for a defined period. Strong protection against ransomware and intentional deletions.
Can you see the contents of my files?
No. Due to client-side AES-256 encryption, only someone with the key can access the content — not even us.
How long does setup and go-live take?
Typically 15–30 minutes for the basic setup; after that, backups are fully automatic.
Is the solution GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Backups are stored in a Hungarian data center, with logging and access control, in compliance with GDPR.
What if I accidentally delete a file?
Thanks to versioning, previous states can be restored with a few clicks; accidental deletion isn’t final.
